Individual Giving

In a region rich with choral and performing arts organizations, the Alexandria Singers has occupied a distinct corner since 1975. Nearly 100 auditioned voices, performing everything from Benny Goodman to Adele, for audiences across Northern Virginia and the Washington D.C. metro area. But the work doesn't stop at the stage door. Free community vocal workshops, music brought to Alexandria City festivals, senior residences, and the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center. Community-friendly ticket pricing so that cost is never the reason someone misses live music.

The Alexandria Singers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and every gift makes that work possible.

Does Your Employer Match Charitable Gifts?

Many companies match employee donations to nonprofit organizations dollar for dollar, which means your gift could go twice as far. Check with your HR or benefits office to find out if your employer participates. For any documentation you need about the Singers as an organization, reach us at: [email protected].

Spring2Action

Each spring, we participate in Spring2ACTion, Alexandria's citywide day of giving hosted by ACT for Alexandria. Our members, donors, and friends come together around a single goal, and the Alexandria community shows up in a big way.

To our 2026 Spring2ACTion donors: thank you. Your generosity this April directly supports everything described above, and we look forward to celebrating with you again in 2027.
